Five years, four schools, and two girls just trying to figure it out. We are Cal Poly seniors, Devan Spiegel and Brie Parker, and we’re all about the benefits of taking an unconventional path to earn a college degree. If you didn’t go straight to a four-year university after high school … if you aren’t going to finish your degree in four years … we’re here to tell you, that’s okay!
This podcast dives into stories of individuals with a non-traditional experience in their educational journey. Type A, Plan. B is a space to make you feel heard and understood. There might even be some tips and tricks along the way.
Brie Parker
Brie is finishing up her degree in psychology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She first attended Santa Barbara city college and Cuesta college. Brie enjoys writing poetry and riding bikes.
Devan Spiegel
Devan is finishing up her degree in Journalism- Public Relations at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She completed her first two years of college at San Diego Mesa and her third at Cuesta College before moving on to Cal Poly. In her free time, she enjoys making jewelry and listening to music.
